Somewhere in the space between the peaks of the mountains and river bottoms, Chloe Nostrant can be found. As a photographer, writer and artist, she has come to cherish the land that she grew up in. Finding meaning and stories in Montana’s vast landscapes, winding rivers and saloons, she pulls inspiration from the people born of these circumstance. Curious with how a place dictates the people, she travels around Montana and the American West documenting it’s people and places. Her main lovers are fly fishing, hunting and skiing, but finds words and music to be an essential piece in her storytelling. Drawing from the likes of James McMurtry, Townes Van Zandt, Basquiat, and Charles M. Russell, she aims to blend both verbal and visual aspects to tell stories.
